John 12:26
26 Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
The best way to prosper and get things going in your life, is to be a blessing to others. Servitude is a stepping stone to promotion. Do it as unto the Lord. We serve God regardless of the outcome. How do we do this? Let’s look at a servant’s heart.
A true servant doesn’t demand attention.
A true servant doesn’t demand reward.
24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.
The greatest gift that God gave us, is the servant heart of Jesus. Freedom to give and love.
26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.
In order to glorify God, you must be a servant of God. Three years of Jesus’s life, was in servitude to God.

2 Timothy 2:26
26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.
We have to fellowship with God and be cleansed in our minds and body. What are the qualification of a servant?
-Love God
-Obedience
-Submissiveness
-Lift Jesus up
-Having a good witness or testimony
We need to be filled with God’s word and his love.
Here are 5 principles of successful service.
- When you volunteer and do it unto the Lord
- Don’t compare yourself with other’s gifting
- Don’t exclude anyone. All ages matter!
- be committed in good and bad days.
Trust in God for the outcome.
Remember, your more like Jesus when you serve, then any other time in your life. Think of things you can do to lift Jesus up!
