What is the Care Ministry? 

The Care Ministry provides need based resources to connect with members, visitors, absentees, shut-ins and hospitalized members.

What is the Care Ministry Function?

The areas of the Care Ministry are designed to be an umbrella that meets the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of KCF.

This vision is achieved thru the following components of the Care Ministry:

Care Calling MinistryFollow-up calls for First Time Visitors, members who have been absent for several weeks, members who are sick, hospitalized or shut-in.

Care Card Ministry - Send appropriate cards to the following the members listed below to insure they receive an encouraging and uplifting word from the Pastors and their church:


            - Sick

            - Injured

            - Hospitalized

            - Bereaved
            - Absentees

Follow up phone calls for those needing further emotional and/or  prayer support if needed.

Assessing needs that can be addressed by other arms of the Care Ministry.

Hospitality MinistryProvides refreshments before and after services on Sunday mornings.  

Food MinistryFood Bank provides goods to the local body as supplemental support during challenging times.  Also provides food support for special outreach events sponsored by the church.


Visitation Ministry
Care Ministers visit members who are confined in homes, hospitals, nursing homes or any other reason that does not give them the opportunity or ability to meet with the local body of believers.  During these visits support is provided in the form of CDs of Pastors’ recent sermons, as well as emotional and prayer support for the members.

Special Events Ministry –

Repast MealCoordinate with appropriate ministry leader for meals and kitchen support for repast.

Shut-in MealsCoordinate with appropriate ministry leader to provide meals for members needing support during times of recovery according to the need.

Expectant Moms – Coordinate with appropriate ministry leader for Baby Showers and meals after baby’s birth.

             

Transportation Ministry – Provides transportation for members needing rides to and from church and special church events.


The Care Ministry provides assistance to people inside and outside of our church and surrounding community.
