The Anchor of Hope in
the Storms of Life
All hope was lost
(Acts 27:20)
What happens when your faith is under attack; or when you've gone through trials for so long that you're almost overcome?
Jesus said, "Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
God has to condition our minds, wills and intellects that He is our Provider and that we can receive from Him. We were designed for God and we cannot be independent from Him.
We may have to experience the dark hours and those difficult places, to toughen us up and make us strong. Jesus said, "I'll never leave you, I'll never forsake you." Jesus has overcome and conquered. He has a plan and He knows how to change things.
Jesus has entered into the heavens as the sure anchor of our souls. Our faith and confidence is in Him.
What do you do when life's storms hit you and you have everything going on? You praise God in the midst of your adversities and storms. You count God joyful in it and you count God faithful.
